Music

Saint Mary's Cathedral music ministry program is vital to the liturgical life of the parish. If you are interested in any of the programs, call our music director, Eileen Farrell, at 251-1840 ext 105. There are a variety of choirs and musical groups:

Cathedral Choir

The choir sings regularly at the 9:45 AM Sunday Mass during the school year. Rehearsal is on Wednesdaay evenings at 7:00 pm in the choral rehearsal room in the lower level of the Cathedral Church near the northwest door.

Children's Choir

The children's choir sings occasionally at Sunday Mass. Rehearsals are Tuesday afternoons from 3:00 - 3:45 at St. Augustine's church.

Resurrection Choir

Provides music for our funeral liturgies. Rehearsals are called as needed.

Cantor Program

Cantors lead the assembly in song at liturgies. Cantors sing alone or in teams.

Accompanists/Instrumentalists

Bell Choir

A choir of people to ring handbells randomly to welcome people to worship as well as for processions and for special musical pieces.
