Parish Committees
Pastoral Council
The Parish Pastoral Council views itself as the sounding board for all other parish committees. They serve as the liaison between the people of the parish and the Rector. It is the chief advisory board to the Rector, with a set of bylaws. The Parish Pastoral Council meets on the fourth Tuesday of the Month in the Parish Center at 7:30 PM. Current members are:

Finance Committee
The Finance Council oversees the financial affairs of the parish. They are responsible for planning, implementing and maintaining the parish budget. This group, accountable to the Pastoral Council, meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM in the Parish Center.
Stewardship Committee
The purpose of this committee is to provide education about stewardship for the parish on a yearly basis and to work to raise the level of stewardship of time and talent within the parish as a response to God's generosity.
Worship Committee
The committee's primary responsibilities are:
1. to oversee the quality of worship in the parish;
2. establish policies for parish worship, approved by the general norms of the Roman Catholic Church and by the Pastoral Council and
3. To coordinate and plan liturgical seasons.
Faith Formation Committee
The basic purpose as a committee is to implement and assist in total parish faith formation. The committee works to provide growth in spirituality and in the understanding of our Catholic Christian Faith for our adults as well as the young people. They believe that our need for formation is life-long.
Parish Life & Social Committees
Fellowship is an important part of building community. This group plans the social events of our parish: various receptions, hospitality after Mass, Lenten Soup Suppers.
Saint Mary's Block Party Committee
The Block Party is the parish's most important fundraiser, held on the Saturday after Labor (in September). The committee meets throughout the year.
Funeral Lunch Groups
This committee assists those who are in grief by serving a meal for the family and friends of the deceased following the funeral liturgy and burial.
Art & Environment
As part of the Worship Committee, this group provides prayerful environment in the worship space on a seasonal basis.
